The Fort Worth Public Market building stands proud on a lone street corner and is surrounded by roads, overpasses, highways, and their structure. I investigated the contrast of hard lines and curves, height and structure, and the concept of negative space, and combined and manipulated each in order to create opportunities to form space, architecture, and one of kind elements that add interest to the site and draw the attention of the public. In conclusion, the space is full of attractions for all ages and types of people. The program includes organic gallery floors, event space, go kart tracks, as well as, a café, gift shop, lounges, and open viewing areas for activities.
